The International TV and Radio Festival “Guelder rose bridges” was founded in 2010 by Rivne Regional TV and Radio and Olsztyn TV and Radio Companies.
The Festival gives the journalists the opportunity to study Olsztyn TV and Radio companies’ workflows, to learn more about Polish community lifestyle, to take part in the listening sessions and discussions of the best audio and video programmes produced by TV and Radio companies from Ukraine, Poland and many others.
The Ukrainian Radio journalists are frequent participants of the Festival where they have got the laureate diplomas in different nominations more than once. In 2017 the Ukrainian Radio presented 2 programmes. One of them, “Schevchenko is a Light” by Victoria Naumchuk, was awarded the 3rd prize in nomination “Struggle on—and be triumphant!”.
