The international Forum of Young Performers (IFYP), created in 1969, is a European competition for young musicians organized by the EBU on behalf of UNESCO and the International Music Council (IMC). Since 2002 it has been called “New Talent”.

Since 2003 Ukrainian Radio had been actively participating in the competition, but so far the biggest success is the 2nd place achieved by Oleh Moroz in 2009.

Some years ago our young pianists Maria Kalugina (in 2013) and Antonii Baryshevskyi (in 2014) advanced to the semifinals of this prestigious competition.

Since 2016 the competition has been closed.
